Future Memories

Yesterday we watched Meet the Robinsons. Lewis invents a machine that will show you your memories you have forgotten. This leads to traveling to the future and meeting his future family. He meets himself, and after having a big adventure, goes home, gets adopted, and has his family.


The point of all these ramblings was to ask how do our memories work? If 12yo Lewis meets his Future self (i don't know who old he is.... for the sake of this post lets say hes 40 ;) , wouldn't 40yo Lewis be expecting it? I mean, he should be able to remember going to the future and meeting himself!!!
But in the movie, 40yo Lewis is surprised, but 12yo Lewis remembers it.
That just doesn't make sense to me!!!


But then, Hollywood doesn't ever make sense to me, so why am i surprised? :p
I mean, they can't even get their characters right!!!
Annabeth had BLOND hair, not brown, and Grover is NOT black!!!!
Get it right, Gosh!!! :D
I'm still upset that they didn't show Ares, or Clarissa, that they added Persephone, and that they messed up the  characters :P


I think that it's kind of obvious by now that i like to randomly go on and talk about things that have absolutly nothing to do with my original topic :D


Oh, well!
